This bike tour is the ideal way to get to know the city outside of the Old City’s walls. The ride begins at the First Station, the city’s original railway station until 1997, and will introduce you to this region’s unique wonders. Prepare to ride through narrow alleyways as well as wide bike lanes, taking in the expansive views along the way. Throughout Jerusalem, explore various biblical heritage sites, and encounter the different communities of Jerusalem residents – whether ultra-Orthodox, Arab Muslim, or anything in between – for a layered understanding of the Arab-Israeli conflict and its impact on the character of the city. Feel free to take a water (or coffee) break through the city’s colorful Mahane Yehuda Market, or beside an expansive lookout overlooking Jerusalem’s breathtaking views.
